Cashew Delight Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie


Strawberry shortcake is such a nostalgic piece of my childhood. These days, I’m always looking for ways to create healthier alternatives to some of the foods that I love, while adding a nutritional punch that my clients can enjoy, as well!

Cashew Delight Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 cups almond milk

  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder 

  • 1/4 cup coconut cream (or milk, canned)

  • 1/4 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 - 3 tbsps chia seeds

  • 1 - 2 tbsps of raw cashews (optional)

  • Optional: add a handful of spinach

    Toppings (optional)

  • unsweetened shredded coconut

  • chia seeds


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all of your ingredients into a blender, mix and enjoy!
